Our Residential Home Inspections
Raptor Inspections follows the InterNACHI Residential Home Inspection Standards of Practice, when inspecting a residential property, including cottages or cabins, rural properties (acreages), mobile or manufactured homes (mini homes), log homes, individual condominiums or apartments, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, rowhouses or townhouses. This is to ensure that you will receive a detailed and accurate home inspection. We also abide by a strict Code of Ethics (InterNACHI), which puts your interests first and protects your rights as a consumer.
We work with our clients to determine the exact scope of the inspection, which can include anything from performing a general walk-through examination of the property to a comprehensive inspection including a detailed, easy to read PDF report with labeled supporting photographs. These inspections include Buyer or Pre-purchase Home Inspections, Seller or Pre-listing Home Inspections, 11th Month Home Warranty Inspections and Homeowner or Maintenance Inspections.
It is important to determine the condition of a property prior to making a large investment, so let Raptor Inspections give you the peace of mind you deserve. Proudly serving Charlottetown, Stratford, Summerside, Kensington, Montague and all surrounding communities in PEI.
Buyer or Pre-purchase Home Inspection
A pre-purchase home inspection is for the buyer. The inspector will carefully examine all aspects of the home, and provide a well-written report, describing what problems or conditions were found, and recommendations on how to address them. Having a pre-purchase home inspection performed, can also make it easier for a buyer to get an estimate on the repair costs from the appropriate qualified professionals, and help in the negotiation process. Raptor Inspections is certified and ready to handle your next pre-purchase inspection.
Seller or Pre-listing Home Inspection
A pre-listing home inspection is for the seller. It informs the seller on the current condition of the property. It helps uncover any problems or conditions that may affect the sale of the home. Presenting the prospective buyer with the pre-listing home inspection report can show them that either the conditions have been addressed, or that you have taken them into account when coming up with the asking price. This can make the deal go smoother and faster. Raptor Inspections is certified and ready to handle your next pre-listing inspection.
11th Month Home Warranty Inspection
An 11 month home warranty inspection can help you take the necessary steps to address problems or conditions with your home, before the new home warranty expires. A new home warranty is usually for one year only. Problems or conditions usually start to arise after the first year, but by then it is too late. Have our certified home inspector carefully examine your home and find these problems or conditions, before the home warranty expires. Raptor Inspections is certified and ready to handle your next 11th month home warranty inspection.
